Along with playing in Mystic Shake and Blue Jello, and hosting the Music Under the Pines house concert and Stage 1210 acoustic music series, Ben Hassenger also performs as a solo singer-songwriter at outdoor events, children's shows, coffeehouses, concert venues, and farmer's markets. He keeps the fun and family-friendly aspect of his combo ventures while also exploring more personal and socially-responsible issues.
